Memories For This Unit

Best Friends
1LT Mike Smith
LTC Bob Helminger
LTC (ret) Gus Nance
LTC (ret) George Lampkin
MSG Doy K. McPhail
MAJ Barry Butzer
MAJ Paul Deal

Best Moment
In retrospect meeting such legendary officers from WWII: LTG Jack Norton, COL Jack Frye, LTG Hal Moore, BG Vaught, COL Harry Summers.
Attending a Dining In with GEN Creighton Abrams Army Chief of Staff.

Worst Moment
Finding out from MSG McPhail that Lincoln's Birthday was NOT a national holiday after missing work for the day (OOOOOPS!) Both he and COL Fry thought it was quite funny.

Chain of Command
COL John Barker 1st Commander
COL Bob Whitelaw 2nd Commander
COL Ludwig Fastenheimer 3rd Commander

Other Memories
Doing the literature search for major study on psychological operations at the National Archives as a 1LT during the Watergate hearings in Washington
