Other Memories
Michael Kennedy served as a Rifle Platoon Sergeant with the first Airborne Division in American history. In fact, he was assigned to the unit before the 82nd was officially designated an Airborne Division on August 15th, 1942 at Fort Bragg. He remained in this post for a year total.
