Last Known Activity:

One of 12 airmen killed in the crash of their B-24D bomber in the South Pacific. Due to the nature of the recovery of the remains, several burials in different locations were afforded a number of the airmen, as well as a common burial in a single casket in Arlington National Cemetery.
