Last Known Activity:

Then LTC Sparks commanded the 3rd Bn, 157th Infantry Regiment, 45 Infantry Division during World War 2. His Bn liberated the infamous Dachau Concentration Camp.

He later served as a Colorado District Attorney and Colorado Supreme Court Justice.

He also commanded the Colorado Army National Guard in the late 1970's.
