Last Known Activity:

Bernie served our country in WWII as a SGT in the US Army. He served with the 41st Tank Battalion of the 11th Armored Division. The 41st was better known as The Thunderbolts. Bernie received a Purple Heart medal from injuries he sustained during the Battle of the Bulge.
