4th Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Cadre) Details
4th (Student) Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) trains, advises, manages, counsels, and provides Mentorship to all assigned Students (US and Foreign) in the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC) in order to ensure they are trained and prepared to be an entry level Special Forces Soldier

Best Moment Being selected as the 1SG since the duty MOS was 18Z5M which was Special Forces Senior Sergeant / First Sergeant. I had served 4 years in the 96th Civil Affairs Battalion and during that time I was attached to the 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Abn) in Okinawa for 2 years (88-90) as the NCOIC for the CA/PSYOPS Detachment. I met some old friends and made many mew friends while I was there and spent most of my time in Thailand and the Philippines working with the unit on some great missions which helped me learn a lot more about CA/PSYOPS operations in a real world situation
Worst Moment Having to leave since it was a really great job.
