MG Yount was Chief of Transportation Corps, 1953 - 1958.

He served in the Persian Gulf Command and the China - Burma - India Theater during WW2.  

He transferred from Corps of Engineers to Transportation Corps on July 28, 1950.

He passed away in 1984.
