I am a retired Postal Service Worker. I retired from the USPS as a Mailhandler in 2003 after just 10 years service for a total of 36 years federal service.
Other Comments:
I hated every minute of my career as a Postal Worker and nearly all the Supervisors within that domain are idiots!
Best Friends The guys at Range Control and a great team of NCO's who kept me out of the heat in Scheduling. They also kept CSM Anderson off my ass as well. (What a PAIN in the ASS!)
Best Moment Retirement
Worst Moment Being denied the Legion of Merit by Post Cammand Sergeant Major Anderson!
Chain of Command One of the best I ever served under minus a few CSM's who always tried to play me and my staff!
Other Memories I was NCOIC of Plans and Training, responsible for BCT Training and scheduling, Range Control, Plans and Doctrine, Management of all Training Facilities as well as all 53,000 acres of Training Area and all Impact Areas, Range Management, Range and Training Facility Development and I wrote the Fort jackson Range Regulation probably still in use today.
