PRIVATE FIRST CLASS FORREST HENRY BONNER WAS A FARM HAND BEFORE ENTERING THE SERVICE ON 21 OCTOBER 1942. HE SERVED IN EUROPE WITH BATTERY "C" 42ND FIELD ARTILLERY BATTALION, 4TH INFANTRY DIVISION FROM 26 AUGUST 1944 TO 9 AUGUST 1945. PFC BONNER WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 10 NOVEMBER 1945 AT CAMP BUTNER NORTH CAROLINA. FORREST HENRY BONNER PASSED AWAY ON 23 NOVEMBER 1998 IN PARSONS WEST VIRGINIA AND WAS LAID TO REST AT THE PARSONS CITY CEMETERY.
