PRIVATE FIRST CLASS ANDREW J. PACHOSA WAS CARPENTER BEFORE ENTERING THE SERVICE ON 22 APRIL 1941. PFC PACHOSA SERVED IN ALASKA (UNKNOWN UNIT) FROM 17 SEPTEMBER 1942 TO 2 APRIL 1944. SOMETIME AFTER HIS ARRIVAL BACK IN THE STATES PACHOSA WAS ASSIGNED TO HEADQUARTERS COMPANY, 276TH INFANTRY REGIMENT, 70TH INFANTRY DIVISION. ON 15 DECEMBER 1944 THE 276TH ARRIVED IN EUROPE WHERE THEY SERVED UNTIL 4 OCTOBER 1945. ON 9 OCTOBER 1945 PACHOSA ARRIVED IN THE STATES AGAIN AND WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 21 OCTOBER 1945 AT THE INDIAN TOWN GAP MILITARY RESERVATION IN PENNSYLVANIA.
