PRIVATE BOYD RAY PASE SR. WAS A COAL MINER LIVING NEAR THOMAS WEST VIRGINIA BEFORE HE ENLISTED ON 26 APRIL 1944. HE SERVED IN ITALY WITH THE 362ND INFANTRY REGIMENTS ANTI-TANK COMPANY, 91ST INFANTRY DIVISION FROM OCTOBER 1944 TO OCTOBER 1945. AFTER RETURNING TO THE STATES PVT PASE WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED AT FORT MEADE MARYLAND.  BOYD PASE PASSED AWAY ON 15 SEPTEMBER 1974 IN LAKE FLORIDA AND WAS LAID TO REST AT THE ROSE HILL CEMETERY IN THOMAS WEST VIRGINIA.
