HE WAS ASSIGNED AS A CARPENTER WITH THE 531ST FIGHTER SQUADRON, USAAF IN THE PACIFIC FROM 6 DECEMBER 1939 TO 13 AUGUST 1945. HE WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 20 AUGUST 1945. THE SOCIAL SECURITY DEATH INDEX LISTS HIS DATE OF PASSING AS JUNE OF 1975.
