HE SERVED IN ALASKA WITH THE ANTI TANK COMPANY OF THE 201ST INFANTRY REGIMENT FROM 12 SEPTEMBER 1941 TO 2 APRIL 1944. HE WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 4 JULY 1945. S/SGT COSNER PASSED AWAY IN MOUNDSVILLE WEST VIRGINIA 16 APRIL 2006.
