Other Comments:
Rick was a great trooper always ready to lend a hand or take on a new job.
Often found behind an M-60 at forward areas or defending our base at AnKhe. He soon had a nickname "machinegun freddie".
An Ammo Handler he jumped in to help clean M-60s and quickly learned the Aircraft Armorers duties. Studied the systems and caught on full time.
He began flying as a Door Gunner and proved to be reliable and proficient.
Richard Frederking understood Honor and Duty.
Rest in peace my friend
