George Booher was listed as KIA and a cablegram sent to his family in 1918. On a list of Oklahoma kIA, MIA and WIA, he is still listed as KIA. He was actually in a field hospital from injuries he suffered. He was Honorably Discharged in 1919 after the war.
VFW Post 5617, White Settlement, TX is named in Honor of Private George R. Booher.
