Best Moment
During my duty as Sgt of the Guard I was
met with a Chinese soldier looking for a warm place to have a cup of hot coffee. As
I approached him he surrendered to me
with his weapon and I escorded him to the
Commanders office so we could dispose of
his problem. I kept his wonderful new weapon until I rotated back to Japan but
unfortunately unable to keep it. That was my good deed of the day. Hope things went well for that individual. Joe Pinard
