Promoted to E-6. The unit mission was to manage US Army Logistics for a major NATO ground engagement. Participated in 2 exercises: Return of Forces to Germany, 1982, Kaiserslautern, FRG, and Logistical Exercise 1983, Camp Pickett, VA. Reviewed the classified NATO contingency plan for the 21st Support Command during REFORGER 82. Functioned as Chief Combat Loss Personnel Replacement Manager for LOGEX 83.
