 Additional Information
Last Known Activity:

Worked in the transportation and fuel oil business after WW II, until a well earned retirement.

Founded the So. Attleboro Athletic Association along with his fellow football players.

Other Comments:

Raised a large wonderful family alongside his loving wife Anne. They enjoyed many gatherings of family and friends over the years.

One of his favorite stories is that a priest offered him a glass of wine behind the main altar in St. Peter's Basillica in the Vatican during WWII.

To quote one of his sons: "My father was a good and decent man. He worked everyday, even through illness, to support his family. Everyone who knew him respected him. Many loved him."

S/Sgt Clifford Stauff, U.S. Army Air Corps, was lain to rest in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetary, Exeter, RI. His beloved wife, Anne, joined him in 1995.

May they both Rest in Eternal Peace.
