Other sources indicate date of death as April 9, 1968. ATWS is using April 9, 1968. It is possible he was wounded on the 9th and died on the 10th. Also, Jr is added to his name on the Grave Marker but does not appear in other sources of military information for Rainey. Coffelt Database For Vietnam Casualties includes the Jr in his name; therefore, ATWS has add the Jr. to his name on his VN Fallen Profile.
