My Father, My Hero Posted on 1/13/10 - by His youngest son, James H. Norvelle jmny_crkt@yahoo.com Since I was only 10 months and 4 days old the day my father passed away I never really had the opportunity to know him personally. I am so thankful for the memories of our wonderful Norvelle family and for the love they all have for my father. Most everyone has someone they like to call their "hero", my dad is my hero and I couldn't possibly have any more pride in my heart then I do for my father and the great sacrifice he made when his country called. Helping others out in their time of need is the Norvelle way, it's just who we are and what we do. My father gave his life doing just that, trying to help others get out of a bad situation. I do not dwell on his passing, I choose instead to remember his wonderful life through those who knew him better than I. He was the ultimate husband to my mother, the ultimate father to myself and my three older brothers, and of course one hell of a great son and brother. My father has been missed dearly by those who knew and loved him and now I look forward with joy in my heart to the day when I shall be with him again. Dad, I salute you! - See more at: http://www.vvmf.org/Wall-of-Faces/38164/CLYDE-L-NORVELLE-JR#sthash.HXmm9i1O.dpuf
