We took a little 16 mile march zig zagging across a road, in and out of the Louisiana swamps. Several injuries, one broken leg and one broken arm. Nothing but water, bugs, snakes and gators. At one point I tried climbing up a bank to cross the road and a Lieutenant started screaming at me for carrying my rifle by the sight instead of Ready Arms. There was no way that I could have made it up that steep bank without the use of my hand. I lost my temper and approached the officer to within 6 inches of his face. I said "Fuck You". I had been pushed as far as they could push. me. They I realized what I had just done and I headed back into the swamps. He never did a thing to me. I think he knew that I was ready to go crazy.
