This photo appeared in the Sep-Oct 1933 issue of the Quartermaster Review with the following caption: The officers appearing in the picture are of the 2nd Squadron of the Seventh Cavalry, taken at the target range camp at Fort Riley, Kansas, in 1888. The officers have been identified by Colonel W. W. Whitside, Q.M.C., and are as follows:-- Seated, left to right: 1st Lt. Wm. W. Robinson, Jr., 2nd Lt. T. Q. Donaldson, 1st Lt. Edwin P. Brewer, 2nd Lt. James D. Mann, Major S. M. Whitside. Standing, left to right: 1st Lt. Wm. J. Nicholson, Capt. Allan H. Jackson, Captain, Winfield S. Edgerly and Master Warren Whitside (now Colonel, Q.M.C.).
