This photo was taken enroute back from Nangalam to BAF. 2 / C / 2-87 was flying 3 days after SGM Albert's bird crashed. Our bird experienced mechanical problems (Crew Chief seen fixing it) and we were forced into a hard landing. We were sling loading a HMMWV at the time. All four axles on the HMMWV were broken by the landing. The Pilot managed to save us from a serious crash.
