On 19 January 1957, Co. "D," 508th MP Bn in Garmisch, Germany began on-the-job training of the first German MPs (Feldjager) when the German army was re-established. This photo was taken in the Elefant Bar with the owner, after a routine check of GIs was made in the cafe.
