Christmas 1981 on Forest Street, Bakersfield, CA. My Uncle, Frank A. DiSalvo, visited us from Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field (renamed Creech Air Force Base), Nevada, where he was stationed with the Air Force. He was at Indian Springs AFAF when the Thunderbirds lost all 4 planes and pilots on 18 January 1982, while practicing for an air show at Davis-Monthan AFB.
