I have my M16 rife slung over my shoulder. I have food and water for three days and I am carrying 10 quarts of water. I am also carrying 270 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition for my rifle. I will then pick up one to two haversacks of Composition C-4 explosive, plus time fuse, igniters, and blasting caps. Each haversack contained 16 blocks of M112 Composition C-4, which weighed 20 pounds. I picked up the explosives on the way to the helicopter pad. The photo was taken at Phuoc Vinh, Vietnam outside of our detachment building.
