POSTED ON 7.25.2019, POSTED BY: J L ELLIS, I MAY HAVE KNOWN YOU PHILLIP, I was a medic who went on frequent night ambush patrols with various squads of the 52nd. Sec. Det. out of Camp Holloway. I wish I could see your photo more clearly because you look very familiar. Although I left in May of 1969 if you came in anytime before I left, I very likely served with you. I thought you guys were the best, and you certainly knew how to take care of your medics. I really hate that you were lost. If any of your other unit buddies see this, please send me a note. I would love to hear from you. MY best to your family, I'm sure Phillip was one of the best.
POSTED ON 6.25.2018, POSTED BY: LUCY MICIK, THANK YOU. Dear Sp4 Phillip Duncan,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Independence Day is approaching, and we remember your sacrifice. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
POSTED ON 11.1.2013, POSTED BY: CURT CARTER, REMEMBERING AN AMERICAN HERO, CCARTER02@EARTHLINK.NET, Dear SP4 Phillip Allen Duncan, Sir, As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned. May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you. With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you. Curt Carter.

Manuel Pino 2/8 B Co 1st Cav-68-69, Fellow Nam Brother, B co 1/5th 1st Cav. I remember our dead brothers still live for us and bid us think of life, not death-of life to which in their youth they lent the passion and joy of the spring. As I listen, the great chorus of life and joy begins again and amid the awful orchestra of seen and unseen powers and destinies of good and evil our trumpets sound once more a note of daring, hope and will. I see them now as once I saw them on this earth. They are the same bright figures that also come before your eyes and when I speak of those who were my brothers, the same words describe yours. Oliver Wendell Holmes. Sunday, July 09, 2006.
