 Additional Information
What are you doing now:

I am a retired police officer still continuing to provide instructor services in that industry.

In 1999 I also began a writing "career" and now have three books (two fiction, one non-fiction) published. Additionally I have well over 150 articles each year published in various periodicals and Internet sites serving the military and law enforcement communities.

I am a father of four healthy children, although three are mostly grown. My oldest son is a Marine and married to a Marine. My oldest daughter is a Soldier and married to a Soldier. My next daughter is in college and my youngest son is not quite old enough to serve (11).

Other Comments:

In addition to my job as the Editor for Officer.com I also own and operate:

Borelli Consulting: Starting in 2001 I contracted to the U.S. Army on methods for sharing resources between the Army and law enforcement.  There are SO many technologies that serve both communities and so much expertise that can be shared.  Addtionally, Borelli Consulting provides training and services to law enforcement agencies and organizations.  I have been the keynote speaker at a number of events, such as the 2008 Police Officers Association of Michigan conference, and a guest speaker for an even wider variety of events.  My primary focus these days is on how our country (we citizens) are not raising another generation of warriors but are instead specifically conditioning our children (through the public school system) to be willing victims.

New American Truth magazine:  In print (limited) and online, this magazine is dedicated as "A contemporary common sense publication" and written for those who refuse to be willing victims of crime or terrorism.  Topics range from values and beliefs to preparedness, training, outlook, etc.  There is a Chaplain's Message included in every monthly issue.
