On June 22, 2014, history was made in the U.S. Army Reserves. CW2 Steven Abner of the 373rd QM Battalion based out of Indiana was promoted to CW3 and became the first and senior 923A- Petroleum Systems Technician within the Army Reserves. While conducting annual training at Fort Hunter Liggett California during CSTX, CW3 Abner was promoted by BG Clark LeMasters, commander of the 13th Sustainment Command who was hosted by the 43D Sustainment Brigade out of Fort Carson, CO.
