POSTED ON 3.31.2004. My buddy. Hi, Paul, I finally found you so I could talk with you..I do talk to you even tho you aren't here. I guess I have called upon you so many times to help me with my feelings. I sill remember when you and Eric cam in for the front, Eric had a foot problem. After it was better you both wanted to go back out to your company so you could take care of your men. I wanted you to stay and go out later but your sense of duty to your men was stronger than my wishes. I watched you both go out the door of the tent and I didn't see you anymore. I was heart broken and maybe if I had been more tough you wouldn't have met that terrible fate..I blame myself for not doing that and have carried it with me from then on. I remember us talking at the aid station when you got a letter about your child being born. You had that gleam in your eye like any new daddy. I wished you could have seen the baby before you left to go to Gods house, but I feel sure that you have been there and are still watching over the baby. Sorry, I forgot if itwas a girl or boy, I think it was a boy. God is now taking care of you and you are happy with Him in Heaven. I love and miss you all these days but I will see you again in the near future and I will look you up..Take care my friend, I love you very much.
