Here I'm explaining to 2LT Charles Bailey, the 1st Platoon leader, that we are going to move the company down a side road and then head back in the direction from which we've just come. The decision was forced on me because we came to a bridge with a load limit of just 30 tons--an Delta Company had 16 60-ton M60A1 tanks in it.
