Chain of Command
The 1st Bn, 42d FA was an Honest John Artillery unit, one of the last in the active Army at this time. We were a subordinate unit of the 4th US Army Missile Command. Other units were the 3d Bn, 81st FA, a Sergeant Missile Bn, the 226th Sig Co, and the Weapons Support Detachment-Korea (WSD-K)
