Last Known Activity:

Pvt. Burlazzi enlisted on 22 October 1940 at Newark, New Jersey.

He served in the ETO, based in England then in the Invasion of North Africa. He served with 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division.

He was killed in action in Tunisia., (most probably during the Battle of El Guettar 16-25 March 1945).

He was initially interred in the American Cemetery at Gafsa, Tunisia before re-interrment in the Long Island National Cemetery in 1948.
