Last Known Activity
At the outbreak of WWII, Cpl. Krueger was serving with the 14th Bomb Squaron (H) based at Clark Field, Phiilppines. The unit had been ferried to the P.I. in September 1941 from Oahu, Hawaii. The unit became part of the Far East Air Force.

Due to the movement of aircraft and crews to Australia, the men of the unit fought as infantrymen with the V Incerceptor Command until the surrender 7 May 1942.

He was eventually moved to Japan where he underwent forced labor and he died at the Tokyo POW Camp Branch #2 (Kawasaki), Tokyo Bay Area, (Latitude and Longitude 35-139).He had been a POW for 263 days.

He has a grave site at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, USA
