YOUR SERVICE SHOULD BE REMEMBERED

POSTED ON 6/10/14 - BY CARMEN M VARGAS-RIVERA
On 2009 I went to South Korea and visited the Korean War Museum. I remembered you talked to us about your deployment to that war. It was really emotional, no matter the time.
But what impacted me most was those Korean war veterans I met in a Veterans House, near Seoul.. When I told them you went there, and fight for them, and that years later you went to Viet Nam, where your body stills, tears came off our eyes, theirs and mine.
They asked me to tell every puerto rican and american who went there the following, and I quote: "Tell them what a beautiful country they helped to build. Tell them that without them, we could not do it. Tell them what a great country you met. Tell them how grateful we are. "
And now, as I found this page, I tell you, papa, how grateful I am for your love and what you did for others.
