Cousins-childhood fun

Posted on 3/18/16 - by Marilyn Tennant Hunn
Butch's dad and my mother were brother and sister. They were 2 of 8 siblings. The Vanderboom cousin clan was large and we had many cousins to play with. There were summer picnics and Christmas Eve celebrations. Lots of laughter. I remember Butch with his white blond hair and impish smile. We are all scattered now and I have lost touch with most of my cousins. But I do remember them fondly and I have never forgotten Butch. His death was a loss deeply felt and still is.

I'm glad I finally got to meet you
Hi Paul my dad Puppy was your brother Dan's best friend I lost my Dad in 1995 to heart disease and I had made a promise to myself that if I ever made it to Washington D.C. I would look for your name on the wall. I found you and I am honored to have been raised knowing what a great man you were
