Connie and served together in the 1st Air Cav. I had already left the Company when I heard that he had been killed. It was a sad day and I've thought of him many, many times over the years. He was a good friend and pilot, and was the kind of guy you knew you could count on. I've missed being able to talk to him. We would have had a great time reminiscing over a beer or two and lying to each other about what war heroes we were. Connie, you have not been forgotten.

I will always remember that wonderful spring weekend that we shared at Lehigh.
Your smile and your bright blue eyes will always be a part of me. Your message for Betty Sue was passed on though me.
With Love,
