Comments/Citation

I was on the track team with Bob Simes at Lincoln High School. Bob was a star
on the Washington State Championship Team in 1969 (I think). My memories of
Bob always come back
to his constant smile and positive attitude. I was really
sad when I discovered Bob's name on the wall while I was on a business trip to
Washington. I was also in Washington DC when the wall was dedicated. I'll never
forget the thousands of vets who gathered to support each other and to honor their
fallen comrades.
