Steve Blackwell

While on a mission escorting Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara on a tour of jungle battlefields, his helicopter lost power and went down in the Mekong River outside of Sadec

The crew were aboard a UH-1B tail number 62-01961.  PFC Shea was a volunteer door gunner from the 560th Military Police Company.
