Last Known Activity
CWO William Howard Anderson had served in the Philippines in the early 1920s, with home base of Fort Hayes, Ohio. In the 1930s, he was serving with Hq., 3rd Division, based at Fort Lewis, Washington.

At the outbreak of WWII, he was assigned to Headquarters Command, Philippine Division.

He died while being held as a Prisoner of War on or about 10 May 1942, and may have died as a direct result of the Bataan Death March

He left a wife, Lillian, in Kentucky.
