Prior to military service, Lt. Schiller attended the University of Missouri.

Lt. Schiller graduated with 50th Company, OCS, Fort Benning, Georgia in January, 1969.

In Vietnam, he served with Company C, 5th Battalion, 46th Infantry, 198th Light Infantry Brigade, 23rd Infantry Division Quang Ngai Province, RVN.


He was interred in Calvary Cemetery, Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, Plot Chapel Hill,5th Circle,Lot 298,grave 1.
