Last Known Activity
Private Edward Ambrose enlisted in the Army at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, California on 22 April 1941.

In the P.I., he served with the Anti Tank Company, 31st Infantry Regiment. This was a newly formed unit, using six 37 mm. anti-tank guns. Three of these guns dated back to WWI.

He died while being held as a Prisoner of War  by Japanese Forces at Camp O'Donnel, Luzon, Philippines.
