Last Known Activity
SP4 David Mills served with B Troop, 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Aviation Brigade. His tour began on 24 January 1969.

He was killed by a sniper while on a Medivac mission.

David was featured in a magazine article entitled "The Faces of the American Dead in Vietnam: One Week's Toll May 28 - June 3 1969," Life Magazine, 27 June 1969.

He was interred in Macon County Memorial Park,  Harristown, Macon County, Illinois.
