Spec. 4/c U.S. Army, {RA16869185}, Vietnam War-Spec. McWhirter died when he fell out of a moving vehicle on 7-14-1968 while serving as a Quarrying Specialist with the 544th Engineer Co., 588th Engineer Battalion, 79th Engineer Group, 20th Engineer Brigade. Spec. McWhirter started his tour of Vietnam on 11-9-1967.
