To a friend
As the holidays draw near, I find myself thinking of the past. I think of all the holidays you were not able to share with your family and friends. I think back of my days in VN and all the men I served with, you were a friend and a brother.I have thought of you everyday since June 13, 1969. You gave your life for me, I thank you, "Blue Boy" To the family: I have a few pictures and a voice tape recording of Jim that I will share with his family. “You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

I served myself in 1968, and Jim Luceros death has kept my memories alive for over 30 years. He represents all that happened in Vietnam during those years, and will not ever be forgotten. I just wish I could have been there to take his shots, instead of him, such a wonderful human being. Bomber Brown, Tet '68
