Basic Training

Posted on 3/7/03 - by James Calway
Cornelius Lau was my basic training company commander at Fort Ord, California in 1962. He was a sharp soldier and a positive influence on us recruits. He wore a combat infantrymans badge (CIB) which means he was a veteran of the Korean War who had seen action as an infantryman. God bless you sir.
