Last Known Activity
1st Lt. Kukowski served as an Airborne Pathfinder with HHQ, 101st Aviation Group, 101st Airborne Division. His tour began on 5 October 1970.

He was killed after being inserted with ARVN Marines by a USA helicopter, conducting a combat assault in the vicinity of Hue, Thua Thien Province.

Lt. Kukowski was interred in Arlington National Cemetery. Arlington. Arlington County. Virginia, Plot: Section 25 Site 2015-4.
