SP5 Billy Knight served as a crew chief aboard the UH-1B.

At approximately 1527 hours, a UH-1B (#62-12538) armed helicopter on a CA mission crashed and burned in the vicinity of coordinates BR 837 005. All four crew members aboard survived the crash but were killed by enemy fire.
