Larry Jacobson was born March 15, 1949 in Kenmare. He attended the first six years of his schooling at Norma and graduated from Kenmare High School with the class of 1968. Jacobson entered military service on September 9, 1968 and received his basic training at Ft. Lewis, Wash. He was then transferred to Ft. Rucker, Ala., where he received aviation training. He served in Korea from August 1969 until April 1970. Following duty in Korea he spent a 30 day leave at the home of his parents and then transferred to his present base in Vietnam.
