My Best Friend, Ray
Ray was my friend, my best friend. We went to school together at Holy Cross. I still miss him so much. You see he was going to be my friend for the rest of my life. When he told me he joined up I was shocked. I said if I had his courage I would go with him. That made him angry. He forced me to promise not to go. I waited for the draft lottery and was never called. So here I am today with that empty place in my life that only Ray could fill.

A Man Not Forgotten
So long ago. I remember the night before you were inducted. You said lets give Levittown a night it will never forget, we did a lot of goofy things that night. I got to Nam March 25, 1970. I tried to find you but you were soon on your way back to the world. The world is not the same without you. You are missed and not forgotten.
